As you are probably now aware the Federal Government plans to means test the rebate commencing 1 July 2012. Please click here for the latest updates to the rebate information. Further to this the Government is planning a media campaign to advise the public of the changes. At ACA Health we try to keep our price rise as low as possible whilst balancing increasing benefit payments and premiums with the required strong, long term financial position. As such this year the Minister for Health has approved an increase of 5.47% (weighted average increase) across all our products. We also are very proud to let you know that we return approximately 90% of all contributions to membership in benefits and that our management expenses are lower than the industry average.

Please accept our apologies for current claims processing times being longer than normal (3-5 working days). Assessing and processing claims is a specialist role, and with a significant turnover of staff in recent months, it has meant our turnaround times have not been as fast as previously. In addition to this, we have had team members unwell and off work for extended periods, which has contributed to this.
Therefore, please be aware that your claim is likely to take a little longer than normal to process and we will be doing our best to catch up on this back log of claims.
We truly appreciate your understanding during this time. We will keep this section updated until our processing times return to normal.
